About

Soft Landing Interventions is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 1601 Bond Street in Naperville, Illinois. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Soft Landing Interventions. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Soft Landing Interventions.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Soft Landing Interventions, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adult men, Adult women, Seniors or older adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Soft Landing Interventions have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Soft Landing Interventions. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Soft Landing Interventions can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Soft Landing Interventions by visiting www.softlandingrecovery.com now.

Most of my experiences here have been positive, but there were a few negative things. For example, any drug addict knows that having to chase down a prescription feels exactly like trying to find drugs because it literally is the same thing. A few times it has been hard to get my ssri (which I cannot go with out according to the doctor and label on pills) despite many phone calls, messages and pharmacy faxes. I also had an incident when I went from cash paying poor person to insured patient. I spent hours on the phone with my insurance company, the broker, and hr from my company trying to find the right insurance. I also consulted the clinic. When I got my insurance they told me that instead of $250 a month it would be $200. I was lead to believe it would be a $20 copay. I couldn’t believe it. I had made these meticulous plans. I assumed I made a mistake and asked what should be done. They told me if I moved up a level (doubling the price) then I would be covered. I did this at great cost to myself from a financial perspective and i had to ask for favors from executives at work. A new job. So I got the new insurance and went back. Same thing, they wanted $200/ month. They eventually told me they don’t have a predetermined billing system. They just wanted me to pay “as much as I could afford”. What? What other medical services would do that? I want to pay the same rate all other people with comprehensive insurance pay. I don’t want to have to haggle. Why would this system resemble so closely the black drug market? It was a very stressful situation. It was enough for me to walk, and we all know how hard it is to find a sub doctor, but they made concessions when I said I was out. So with all that bad stuff it’s still the best clinic I’ve been to in 20 years. They don’t make you get sick to prove a point or when you argue with them. They aren’t rude. They actually abide by their posted hours. They don’t just make things up when they don’t know the answers. There’s actually a human being who you can talk to when you call 6 days a week or more! The place looks nice, doctors are decent and counselors too. This place is light years ahead of places like family guidance or ctcc or cap. Edit:

All the staff is genuine and compassionate and from the beginning SLR stands out. They offer services I haven’t seen or heard of anywhere else in Illinois or even guest dosing out of state. It’s more homey and is a lot nicer than some of the other run down clinics I’ve been to. Although since ownership transferred from private under Dr Fahmy to public, there are very noticeable differences. I never saw them nag people for money like they do now before. Although this is a litte concerning, I do understand rehab’s are businesses that need to make money just like anything else. You’re going to get this with probably anyother clinic though. Only complaint would be wait time and communication between staff. Other clinics don’t seem to have a problem getting people in and out even if the line leads out the door. If you can get past this, I would definitely recommend giving it a try or switching from another nearby location to Soft Landing. Each counselor, nurse, support staff member, and doctor have touched my life in a way I could never repay them for. God bless each and every one of them.To me, this is a lot more important than being able to be in and out in 2 minutes. If you’re looking for a MAT program that has it all: medication, counsling, group therapy, a psychiatrist, and excellent staff members, you’re looking at the right place!

I've been here for four years. These people do want to help but seriously I have been to one other clinic and 2 guest dosing clinics where people were waiting in lines out the door and it still took every one of us no longer than 5 to 10 minutes pn a BAD/SLOW day. Even with the veteran nurses it can take a long time to get dose but with the newest nurse, Java you get there at 5am and you are almost every single day waiting upwards of an HOUR. I'm close to losing my job because of this and no matter how many complaints people make the waiting is so full you have to sit on the floor now. This is my only complaint and something seriously must be done or they should be coming in before 5am.
